silence is golden in comparisant to the squeecking pads - [B]maggies can be setup to make no noise, my rear maggie is far more silent than the rear disc you ride in your videos[/B]
i personally think it brakes better >> without GRINDING your good rim what destroyes the modulation of the brake power - [B]you shouldn't want a brake to have modulation in trials, it should be on/off feeling.[/B]
I looked through your albums, and it looks like rear disc [B]IS[/B] what is causing your frames to snap. Rear disc on a trials bike causes both the chainstays to flex more than normal, so if the disc side has plenty reinforcement, but the driveside does not, then the driveside is more likely to snap. The only frame I ran rear disc on snapped on the driveside too. Since I switched to maggie, I've had 6 different frames, and I havent broken any of them. About Us
